Our Story

Kevin & Bethany were 16 weeks pregnant with their first child, daughter Hallie, when Bethany was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of cancer called Small Cell Neuroendocrine Carcinoma of the Cervix (sccc). Bethany delivered Hallie at 19 weeks on November 3rd but she was too tiny to take on this world for long and sadly went to Heaven shortly thereafter. Bethany went on to have extensive life saving surgery that successfully removed all signs of cancer.  On December 5th, she continued her course of treatment, with five rounds of chemo & 28 rounds of internal & external radiation simultaneously. She completed treatment in March of 2017.

Bethany is still cancer free today, through God’s grace alone. Cancer changed their lives forever, flipped it upside down & inside out. They learned first hand that there is nothing more powerful, or needed, than hope when fighting cancer and it is now their mission, through this Foundation, to spread that hope to those fighting today, in honor of Hallie.

Kevin & Bethany live in the suburbs of Chicago and are avid Chicago sports fans. They have three dogs that keep them on their toes daily. They are currently going through the adoption process and can’t wait for the day that Hallie becomes a big sister!
