Our Story

Kevin & Bethany were 16 weeks pregnant with their first child, daughter Hallie, when Bethany was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of cancer called Small Cell Neuroendocrine Carcinoma of the Cervix (sccc). Hallie was born prematurely at 19 weeks and was heartbreakingly here for only a short time, but left a lasting legacy on her parents, her godparents, her family and all those who loved her so much.

Bethany had surgery that successfully removed all signs of cancer in November of 2016.  On December 5th, she continued her course of treatment with five rounds of chemo & 28 rounds of internal & external radiation simultaneously. She completed treatment in March of 2017. Bethany is still cancer free today, through God’s grace alone.

Kevin & Bethany launched this Foundation in 2018 after using their own long days of chemo to dream and to plan. Knowing first hand how devastating cancer is & missing their daughter everyday, it is now their life mission to keep Hallie’s memory alive by helping those who so desperately need it in the cancer community.

Kevin & Bethany live in the suburbs of Chicago with their three dogs. They are currently going through the adoption process and are eager for the day that hallie will become a big sister!
